Satya Sai Baba revealed a new dimension of remembrance and healing through His photographs. I felt a living current of grace, each image echoing the formless healing I had once received. These photographs became alchemy and healing equal to the dreams I once received in solace. He revealed a path of healing that many disbelieved, while many also experienced it themselves. I could not measure the worth of 35 years and so many photographs of Him that I took myself. Photography is still a fresh language, and only He decides whether an image will resonate beyond me. When it did, I felt deep gratitude and trusted the receiver to find the value of the task Satya Sai Baba had requested, as written in the Sankalpa Blessing. I tried to give it away, but without the story none will understand the context and how the leelas began that stopped the channellers in their tracks and proved His own words that He cannot be channelled. The truth can only be experienced and found in the spiritual heart.

Develop the inner eye, not exterior sight. Follow the commands of God, which will set your feet on the path of silence and steady sadhana.
- Sri Sathya Sai Baba,
Satya Sai Baba drew me to photographs with the same pull years later when I first experienced upon entering His ashram in 1993..there were worlds of experiences from that day to this photograph. I stood alone on the main street of the town where His ashram is, across from the music hall. I held the camera over my heart so I wouldn’t miss the darshan by focusing on the viewfinder. To feel Him, I snapped the photograph on the voice in my heart. The silent message from the glass canvas was clear when I sat with that reflection. "The treble clef" was self-evident, with layers appearing if one believed the spiritual heart guided the photograph's timing. The glass canvas reflected a treble clef as his car drove past the music college. The photograph weaves personal healing about loss and betrayal into a single image through that metaphor and symbolism. The silent song and vibrations beneath the healing music can have an effect. Symbols gain meaning when one looks more deeply into the language and expression of creative endeavour in a language that transcends words or thoughts that only the avatar could create.. When I got back to my room and took in the gift's meaning and symbolism, I considered what I had to give up to obtain it—the two “keys” Satya Sai Baba gave me in a dream twenty-five years ago. On September 11, 2001, the pursuit of truth and justice in a personal matter took place on the same day as a world-famous symbol of destruction. The “keys” in that dream held a plethora of meanings. The treble clef is a “key” of sound, and it has symbolic significance in three different worlds of experience; it formed a language of symbols and metaphors in which “keys” carried double meanings and opened doors and sounds in all three worlds. My senses with vibrations began when I started working with people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Deafness was another metaphor. “for those who have ears to hear it” JC. A metaphor for spiritual listening and understanding. The photographs of the Avatar show Him behind or through glass canvas paintings, reflections mirrored to distract or give pause for reflection. A symbolic language that can speak to the soul if one looks beyond personal limitations to the Avatar's capacity for expression, which goes beyond language, since language is not sufficient to define true spiritual experiences and knowledge. Symbols reduce enormous concepts down to a single vortex of meaning. The treble clef and the treble octaves suggest the interaction of multiples of three. Those were the layers within each photograph that I was given..the face to face with god concept and the timeless reflection He gifted in that moment. While my personal experience may be relevant in certain situations, I use it to add depth and narrative. In this instance I will not share it. The silent song and the treble clef cannot be represented on a musical scale as betrayals happen daily in the context of spiritual experiences deemed delusions. Still, by looking at an image of an Avatar obtained by turning to the spiritual heart, in the place where true guidance lies and which cannot be stated or asserted except in the way that it is and just as surely as a dream or a vision cannot be proven. If you believe I made up the whole story, it means you have no ears to hear... or eyes to see...or imagination or creativity to actually dialogue with an avatar for joy. Deception and false assertions regarding one's sanity were frequent at the feet of the Avatar. But who were the accusers? I tell the archetypical stories.. Although their hypocrisies and venomous behaviours came to light, the hurt caused by the accusations remained. That was the sport at the feet of the Avatar while He lived on the Earth. How does one tell the difference between those who genuinely reflect Him and those who take advantage of His name and image for power and 'spiritual authority'? Borrowed authority I called it. Throughout this memoir is how Satya Ssai Baba used photographs of Him to access the spiritual heart. And how those instances were cultivated until He gifted me a camera to take spontaneous photographs of Him and what it meant to receive them. I partly express the personal healing principle He gave me when I received it, and at the same time they confirm the course I have taken, even though betrayals have come from people who pretended to have spirituality or to know His will. Instead of bringing healing, spiritual inflation and grasping for authority they did not hold. I never dared to. The healing I have received through my dreams and inner visions, verified by these images, is real. My interpretation is real. Each moment, each dream, and each photograph has a lesson and significance. They have shown that true healing arises from meeting the trials and the darkness within the broader story which He has led- His leelas, a story that I tell here for the purpose of illustration and perhaps to help those who are following false narratives and to provide comfort to those who have been pierced by arrows aimed at their spiritual hearts. True healing arises from personal insight rather than from the approval of people who distort spiritual truth. The people who ridicule, disregard and censor His written and spoken teachings about dangers and pitfalls of channelling are not central to the main point examined among the other revelations and disclosures in this partial memoir. The only knowledge I have came from my own blessed experiences, which truly began in a true death experience with Jesus Christ. The physical and oft times miraculous recovery from paralysis and poverty aided by the the Avatars from India are central to the experiential threads I reveal. Many of those experiences did not match others' expectations of what spirituality should be when it is surrounded by the atmosphere of a cult and especially the cult of. Satya Sai Baba. While manipulation can make one blind and deaf, I soon realized such dynamics weren't confined to spiritual situations; they seemed magnified there. The toxic trickle down policies of the ashram, were no different than governmental social services and the many archaic laws of western society. The head in the sand beliefs in a Satya Yuga without addressing the abyss of contradictions in the suffering of many. When exactly do people disregard the essential part of His teachings and His words while still participating in practices and beliefs which He has stated to be false and which are echoed in all the religions? And the keys...to His consciousness? The keys to liberation and the cessation of inequities that exist within and without.
